Case
A case is the investigation file built from one or more alerts: the evidence, the linked parties, the analysis, the decision and its approval. Several alerts about the same customer or network are often combined into one case.
Why it matters for brokers and payment firms
The case file is what the MLRO decides on and what an inspector reads. Evidence rows, a clear narrative, the deadline and the decision trail belong in one place.
