goAML
goAML is the reporting system developed by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime for financial intelligence units. Reporting entities use it to file suspicious transaction reports and other report types, either through a web form or as XML files built to the FIU's schema. The UAE FIU uses goAML for all reporting entities, and other FIUs in the region use it too.
Why it matters for brokers and payment firms
A broker or payment firm filing in the UAE has to register on goAML, keep the MLRO's details current and produce reports that pass the FIU's mandatory fields and business rules. Preparing XML from case data saves retyping and errors.
